Yes, we might already have an ink-related game on the Switch, but today, Playdius announced that it will release the platformer Splasher for the Nintendo Switch on October 26. Previously released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac, the game tasks players in using a splatter cannon to traverse a factory and sneak away from different traps within.
Set in a crazy cartoon universe, Splasher is a 2D splatformer with unique arcade/action gameplay. Armed with a splatter cannon, a purple haired young hero launches an attack on a paint factory in order to save the workers – called the Splashers – and stand up against the evil boss: Le Docteur!
As you splash your way through the 22 levels, the cannon will grant you more and more gameplay abilities such as sticking to walls, bouncing high in the air or even throw your dumb opponents into their own traps.
Splasher will also include a time attack and speedrun mode for those who want to share their best times around the world. The game will be released for the Switch on October 26. Check out the trailer above, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
