If you’re daunted by hundred-plus hour RPGs and want a tightly knit experience that lasts seconds, Devolver Digital has announced that it will release its monochromatic adventure game Minit on April 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Minit is a peculiar little adventure played 60 seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse which ends each day after just one minute.
“Every pixel matters. It’s a big adventure, compressed into a tiny amount of time,” noted developer Kitty Calis. “No matter the direction you head in, countless challenges, shady secrets, and needy characters await.”
This game is perfect for anyone who misses being able to fit adventure games into their schedules. Minit’s overworld is compact and tightly designed, ensuring almost every screen offers an item, character or secret awaiting discovery.
