Today during a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced a brand new 2D Metroid game, Metroid Ravenous.
From the trailer, Samus is lost within a moon after being attacked by cyber bird samurai and must find her way back to the surface, all while slowly being consumed by a hunger for life energy thanks to her metroid DNA.
Metroid Ravenous launches on January 28th, 2027, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. A special edition will be available on the same day. For more on all things Metroid, stay tuned to GamingTrend.
