Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will be getting a temporary price cut for the upcoming holiday season.
The system will be $50 less regardless of which version of the console you choose to buy. This includes the standard version with or without Kinect, as well as the Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Sunset Overdrive bundles.
The change in price goes into effect next Sunday, November 2nd. The console’s price will revert to the standard $399/$499 on January 3rd. The offer appears to be US-specific for the time being.
This is the second price cut the Xbox One has undergone this year, having shed $100 after the removal of the Kinect earlier this year.
