Sudden Strike 4, a continuation of the WWII RTS series last seen in 2008, will be headed to PC, Mac, Linux and PS4 in Q2 2017.
Developed by Kite Games and published by Kalypso Media, this vaunted RTS title will be a standalone sequel to the previous entries in the series. Known for extensive campaigns, massive battlefields and strategic realism, Sudden Strike 4 will allow you to take command of the British and American forces, the Soviets, and the Germans, through single player missions, skirmishes, and multiplayer. In a twist new to the series, you will be able to choose from nine famous commanders, like Patton or Montgomery, each bringing unique benefits and abilities to your army. Modding support through the Steam Workshop will be integrated into the PC version as well.
If you’re attending this year’s Gamescom, Sudden Strike 4 will be there for some hands-on. And be sure to stay tuned for our gameplay preview tomorrow. Until then, enjoy the teaser above.
