Bungie’s popular shared-world shooter is no stranger to seasonal events, and today Destiny 2 players are getting what seems to the biggest one yet with the second annual festival of “The Dawning.”
The Dawning is Destiny’s winter holiday event, and so beginning today and lasting until January 9th, 2018 players can throw snowballs at enemies in strikes, play hockey matches at the tower, earn Dawning-themed gear, and enjoy the return of the Destiny 1 crucible game mode, “Mayhem.”
As with past seasonal Destiny events, the game’s social spaces will also be decked out with festive decorations, which are always worth logging on to enjoy. We’ll have more Destiny 2 Dawning coverage in the days and weeks to come!
