Starfinder was my go-to tabletop role-playing game for 2025, so I am wicked excited about this game.
Epictellers Entertainment has revealed today the first public gameplay video teaser for Starfinder: Afterlight during the New Game + Showcase. The studio has also confirmed that the first public demo for the party-based RPG will be available this year.
In the new video, the developers offer a sneak peek of the exploration and combat system of Starfinder: Afterlight. With the upcoming demo, players will be able to experience these systems firsthand, with the demo featuring brand-new early-game content.
Starfinder: Afterlight is a story-rich, turn-based RPG video game set in the Starfinder TTRPG universe, and based on the Second Edition rules. Players take the role of a spacefarer whose captain has mysteriously vanished. They must gather a legendary crew and confront dangers across the Pact Worlds to save the galaxy.
Starfinder: Afterlight’s unique cast of characters will be a key part of the player’s adventures traversing the universe, voiced by Neil Newbon (Preach), Fred Tatasciore (Kole), Inel Tomlinson (Tycho), Melissa Medína (LU-323), James Alexander (Sterling), Carolina Ravassa (Captain Khali), and Roger Clark (Narrator).
Starfinder: Afterlight is set to release in Early Access in 2026, with a demo available this year. Players can add the game to their wishlist, join the official Discord, follow the developers on Bluesky, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and visit the official website for more details.
