Watch Out for Those Wrist Rockets! Super Battle Droids and Commander Cody Incoming

Atomic Mass Games has revealed two "new" expansions for their large-scale tabletop wargame, Star Wars Legion. Commander Cody, a commander unit for the Galactic Republic, and B2 Super Battle Droids, a corps for the Separatist Alliance, are available for pre-order through Asmodee's website.

Both of these expansions were available previously but have since become difficult to find, especially the B2 Super Battle Droids. The reprint is greatly needed and highly anticipated as the B2s got a nice little overhaul with the 2.0 rules and the expansion itself was nearly impossible to find (unless you forked over extra Republic credits on the secondary market). The Commander Cody expansion, inclusive of clones Waxer and Boil, is also welcomed as his popularity in competitive play has increased due to his updated unit and command cards, which hone in support for units and vehicles.

The expansions will both include the new edition of unit and upgrade cards, and the figures will be printed in hard plastic. If you have the the 1.0 figures and haven't yet downloaded the new cards, you can download and print the player and battle cards here on Atomic Mass Games' website.

Clone Commander Cody Expansion

Commander Cody joins the fight! SWQ72 brings Obi-Wan Kenobi’s trusted commander to the tabletop in Star Wars™: Legion. Fighting all through the Clone Wars, Commander Cody and his clones proved themselves time and time again, becoming some of the finest troops for the Galactic Republic.

Joined by Waxer and Boil, this Character Expansion for the Galactic Republic provides tactics and abilities which improve vehicles and troops in combined attacks. Waxer and Boil enhance the capabilities of Clone Trooper units and their tactics. For Galactic Republic players, this will be a useful pack to have at their disposal.

B2 Super Battle Droids

The B2 Super Battle Droids are the powerful shock troops of the Separatist army. Making their debut in Star Wars™: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, these iconic battle droids bring a formidable force to the tabletop in Star Wars™: Legion.

SWQ35 Unit Expansion provides a corps unit for Separatist army players, with the B2 Super Battle Droids bringing mid range firepower support and heavy armor. This unit pack will be included in many army lists and is supported by many character expansions and unit expansions to build an engaging and thematic Separatist army.
