Watch Dogs is just a short jaunt away, and today we have a really good look at the city of Chicago, the setting for the game. The video reminds me of a real-world establishing shot roll for any major hollywood movie. Showing off some of the familiar landmarks, lighting, weather, and physics that come together in the Disrupt engine to bring the whole thing to life. There are a lot of sweet views into the gameplay world as well with prompts like “Erupt steam pipe”, “Track Vehicle Location”, “Hijack Digital Billboards”, and other far more dangerous options.
This just may be the first game that I want to play with social integration. Stay tuned as we bring you more on Watch Dogs in advance of the May 27th release date for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
