Warhammer 40k + Golden Girls

In the world of hobbying, we love to customize our pieces. From modifying weapons, to adding texture, new armor, sculpting new body parts, all that it takes is some creativity, and some inspiration to make your models look like something unique on the table.

Adam Huenecke, self professed "Massive Golden Girls" fan took this to the next level. By using a set of STLs from Black Site Studios, he took the Golden Girls and modified some Adeptus Soroitas.

For those not in the know, the Adeptus Soroitas, or the Sisters of Battle, are an all-female division of the Imperium of Man's chruch, the Ecclesiarchy. Basically think of them as witch hunters that help keep the heretics down in the imperial government in the world of 40k.

In his words, "I can think of no better leadership for my Adeptus Sororitas. I've been working through this concept for YEARS and I'm excited to finally have it accomplished."

If you check out his other photos, you'll see that he also added a purse to Sophia, and changed the heights of the models to reflect the actual Golden Girls.

These are a brilliant paintjob and a hilarious addition to an otherwise grimdark game. Great job, Adam!
