There will also be a map-based campaign for 2-8 players that pits players against each other for control over resources in the wider Carcass Front, a New mechanics will also be introduced for the campaign mode.
Trench Crusade launched in 2025 and is set in an alternate history 1914, where a gateway to Hell was opened during the First Crusade. Most of the Middle East and parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe are now under Hell's control, with a stalemate reached and brutal trench warfare becoming the norm. There are several different armies and sub-factions in the game, generally split between The Faithful and the Fallen.
