Trademark Application for Fallout: Shadow of Boston Appears Online

A new installment in the Fallout series appears to be imminent thanks to a trademark application for “Fallout: Shadow of Boston.”

The listing was spotted by NeoGAF user Labadal, and describes the Shadow of Boston as “computer game discs; Downloadable computer game programs; . Computer games program downloaded via the internet [software].”

If this is in fact a new Fallout game it will be the first in the series since Fallout: New Vegas came out in 2010. Rumors of a new Fallout have been circulating for years, but Bethesda has been mum on the future of the series for awhile now.
