It seems like most hidden role games are some kind of Werewolf variant or something with two distinct sides. With Good Cop Bad Cop, you have the bad guy, and good guy, and the bad guy playing a good guy. Now with Undercover, you can be the good guy playing a bad guy.
Overworld Game’s wildly popular Good Cop Bad Cop has its second expansion called Undercovernow available on Kickstarter for a short, 2 week campaign. You can grab a copy now for $14, which includes worldwide free shipping.
In this expansion, you’ll get an undercover assignment, such as Arms Dealer, Looter, or Sniper, each having its own unique ability to help you find the opposing leader and take them out! In Good Cop Bad Cop: Undercover, you can also protect your last-viewed integrity card, keeping your identity hidden until you’re ready to make your big move. Lastly, by popular demand, you will get a huge stack of new equipment cards to supplement the base game and/or the first expansion. Learn more over on the Kickstarter campaign page!
Don’t worry if you don’t have the original game, you can get it from this Kickstarter as well. Not a bad deal at all. It has ten days to go, and it’s already made over twice its goal, so you don’t have to worry about whether this will actually be produced or not. If you like party deduction games with a different twist, check out Good Cop Bad Cop.
While not working as a Database Administrator, Keith Schleicher has been associated with Gaming Trend since 2003. While his love of video games started with the Telestar Alpha (a pong console with four different games), he trule started playing video games when he received the ill-fated TI-99/4A. While the Speech Synthesizer seemed to be the height of gaming, eventually a 286 AT computer running at 8/12 Hz and a CGA monitor would be his outlet for a while. Eventually he’d graduate to 386, 486, Pentium, and Athlon systems, building some of those systems while doing some hardware reviews and attending Comdex. With the release of the Dreamcast that started his conversion to the console world. Since then he has acquired an NES, SNES, PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA-SP, DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Gamecube, Wii, Switch, and Oculus Quest 2. While not playing video games he enjoys bowling, reading, playing board games, listening to music, and watching movies and TV. He originally hails from Wisconsin but is now living in Michigan with his wife and sons.
