The latest title from Eidos Montreal is taking gamers by storm like a thief in the night (sorry, couldn’t help myself). This reboot of the popular PC franchise brings back the master thief, Garret, after nearly a decade long leave of absence. And judging from the trailer, he’s got a bone to pick with the powers that be.
The cinematics are beautifully rendered and the atmosphere in the Victorian setting is as dismal as even the darkest of Tim Burton films. Having never played the previous titles I’m new to the series. But the more I hear about it, and knowing what Eidos Montreal is capable of, I can’t help but get stoked about stealthily jumping across building tops and stealing from the rich.
Thief will be released on February 25th 2014 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Stefan started gaming the day his dad brought home a shiny, brand new commodore 64. He's been hooked ever since. Whether he's leveling up his ninja in Final Fantasy Tactics, cruising the streets of San Andreas or working on his Terran build order, videogames are never far from his mind. He is currently on the lookout for an appropriate 12 step program to address his electronic addiction.
