Today, Viz Media announced its partnership with Humble Bundle to release an eBook bundle from Haikasoru, featuring a host of Japanese science fiction books. The bundle starts at $1 and will contain books like Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Belka, Why Don’t You Bark?
From the front page of the bundle:
The bundle in the high castle. Viz Media is back at Humble with a bundle of amazing science fiction books from Haikasoru (meaning “High Castle”), the first imprint dedicated to bringing Japanese science fiction to America and beyond. You’ll get stunning stories like Legend of the Galactic Heroes Vol. 1-3, Virus: The Day of Resurrection, The Cage of Zeus, and more!
Pay what you want. All together, these books would cost over $145. Here at Humble Bundle, you choose the price and increase your contribution to upgrade your bundle! This bundle has a minimum $1 purchase.
Read them anywhere. These books are available in PDF, ePUB, and PRC formats, meaning you can read them anywhere at any time. (Mardock Scramble comes in MOBI rather than PRC.)
Support charity. Choose where the money goes – between the publisher, Viz Media; the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America; and, if you’d like, a charity of your choice via the PayPal Giving Fund. If you like what we do, you can leave us a Humble Tip too!
There are four tiers of books available: $1, $8, $15, and $20. Grabbing a higher tier will include lower tiers in your purchase.
