Double Fine Studios (now officially a part of the Microsoft Studios umbrella) launched a crowdfunding campaign on Fig to fund their sequel to the amazingly different adventure title, Psychonauts. In this new adventure he’s visiting Psychonauts HQ (which will serve as a headquarters and game hub for Raz to launch on adventures into the depths of other people’s minds) only to find that it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. Time to get those Psychonauts on the case! Today we get our first look at the game in motion.
Despite all suggestions to the contrary, Double Fine will be honoring their commitments to bring Psychonauts 2 to all agreed-upon platforms, including PC and PlayStation 4. Though we don’t have a set release date as of yet, it’s still planned to parachute directly into your skull at some point in 2019. Stay tuned for more as the E3 madness overtakes us!
