The Plundering in HYENAS starts today with its PC Closed Beta

Today, Europe Limited and Creative Assembly gave us a new look at gameplay from their upcoming project, HYENAS. “Plunder Riot” will be one of many game modes in the multiplayer extraction shooter. PC players who’re interested in HYENAS can sign up for the Closed Beta which starts today and runs until September 11.

PC players can register on Steam to join all the high-octane, zero-G action you can handle. Face off against opposing crews in a race to get in, grab Merch, and get out. A roster of eight specialists will be available to choose from, each bringing a unique weapon, ability and style to the heist.

Meet ballerina Prima, astronaut Commander Wright, super speedy cosplayer Hero-Ki, Sniper El Silbón, headbanging pyrotechnic expert Digits, gamer Doc Hotfix and defense connoisseur drag queen Galaxia. The newest character that players will get to try out during the Closed Beta is Mozie, a charismatic automatic weapons expert and the first Hyena to push back against the hypocrytical elite of Mars.

Once the closed beta begins, aspiring Hyenas will get the chance to score an invitation through following social media for active promotions, or watching an hour of Drops enabled streams via Twitch Drop. Twitch Drops go live tomorrow at 18:00 BST but be aware that there are limited keys available on a first-come first-served basis,
