The much-loved mercenaries mode for Resident Evil 4 has been released as free DLC for the RE4 remake and is available to download now. For those unfamiliar, The Mercenaries mode for RE4 is a action-based bonus mode in which players have to defeat an many enemies as possible within a set time limit and are then rated on their stats. There are multiple characters to play as and stages to perfect, along with other stages and elements unlocking as you progress.
Defeating enemies in quick succession and racking up combos is key to success, but with enemies like the Chainsaw Man on your tail it will be no small feat to obtain that coveted S++ rank. You can check out a trailer for the new mode above.
