Independent developer Fordesoft recently announced that it will release its platformer Emerald Shores for PlayStation 4 on November 13, with a PlayStation Vita version coming afterwards. The game is cross-buy between the platforms, and will feature 90s-inspired mechanics and a couple neat sidequests.
Emerald Shores is a challenging, 90s-inspired run-and-jump 2D platformer. Level up as you progress through challenging levels, tough boss battles, minigames, sidequests, and secret unlockable levels, featuring a soundtrack packed with 26 unique tracks.
Ascend to the floating island of Emerald Shores in this challenging 2D platformer, which plays something like “Super Mario World with a level-up system.”
