THE FINALS Update 1.5.0 goes live on January 17th with some much anticipated changes

Prepare for new content, bug fixes, and balance changes for THE FINALS. The release of the game at the end of the 2023 Game Awards took the world by storm. However, the winter release date meant that soon after the game hit stores, the developers went on a much deserved holiday break. It seems that Embark is back in full swing, as Update 1.5.0 is soon to release, bringing plenty of changes to the game, including a new iteration of Bank It. The balance change notes have yet to drop, but check out the update info below.

On Wednesday, January 17, Embark Studios is launching Solo Bank It — the first limited-time game mode for THE FINALS.

This all-new, experimental game mode releases alongside Update 1.5.0, which also comes with a security update to anti-cheat and fair play, a store update, and plenty of bug fixes and balance changes. Solo Bank It is a fast-paced, all-in-action game mode that allows contestants to show off their skills on their own terms.

Play slow and methodical, or run-and-gun — it’s all up to you. Without a squad to rely on, strategy is more important than ever. Contestants battle it out in 12-player PvP single matches, and the first player to obtain a total of 40,000 Cash wins. Similar to standard Bank It, contestants earn Cash by collecting and depositing Coins that drop from eliminated players or can be found in Vaults around the map.

Solo Bank It and Update 1.5.0 will be released on January 17. Check out the trailer here: https://youtu.be/etpFbuVapb0
