Ubisoft announced today on its blog that the beta for The Division, originally planned to begin in December, would be delayed until early 2016. It’s not all bad news, though, as it also announced that a closed alpha would be beginning this week for Xbox One players.
Players who pre-ordered the game for Xbox One will have exclusive access to the closed alpha from December 9 – 12. Additionally, players on the alpha waiting list may be allowed to enter the closed alpha on an “as needed basis.”
Those who pre-oredered on PlayStation 4 and PC will have the chance to try out The Division when the closed beta launches early next year.
The Division is expected to release on March 8, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
