The art of Vienna paints a story of intertwined destinies in The Lion’s Song, available for Nintendo Switch on July 10th

Today, Mi’pu’mi Games announced that they will be sending their stylized point-and-click adventure game, The Lion’s Song, to the Nintendo Switch next month. This release will contain all four episodes in the season.

The Lion’s Song follows four distinct stories, each intersecting one another in some way while painting a larger narrative. Its beautiful sepia tone and music highlights the highly artistic movement of the early 20th century in Austria.

Set in the early 20th century Austria, The Lion’s Song is a series of four self-contained point & click stories featuring a cast of fictional artists and scientists, each blessed with outstanding skills. Each chapter follows in the footsteps of one of those exceptional minds and players are tasked with helping them overcome their intimate struggles with creativity, human connections and inspiration. The choices they make along the way will have a direct impact on the storylines of all future and past episodes, connecting the individual stories of The Lion’s Song into one overarching narrative.

The Lion’s Song will be released on Nintendo Switch on July 10th, 2018, for $9.99. Last year, I had a chance to review the Steam version of The Lion’s Song and praised it heavily for its art style, sound design, characters, and story. Check out that review here.
