The increasingly popular 2D sandbox that is Terraria will be coming to the Xbox One and PS4 this fall, according to a forum post on the games website.
505 Games did not add a lot of details to this announcement, such as a specific launch date. That being said, they did tease that Terraria on Xbox One and PS4 would be getting “new functionality.” Unfortunately, that functionality has yet to revealed.
Apart from that new functionality, these new versions of Terraria will be getting all the content packed into the latest 1.2 update, which included improved gameplay and graphics.
Hopefully we will find out more about these upgraded versions of Terraria at E3 next week!
