Syndicate Set to Launch February 21, 2012

While I freely admit that I would love for the upcoming Syndicate reboot to be more in the vein of the original game, what I’ve seen so far hasn’t really upset me overly much.  Starbreeze has a solid track record, and from recent reports, have been working on this reboot for quite some time.  So it isn’t that huge a surprise that EA’s now announcing that the release date for the game is February 21, 2012.

Also, they’ve announced that pre-orders of the game will receive The Executive Package, which will include unique perks for the game’s 4-player co-op campaign.  This includes solid gold version of all load out guns, golden dart vision, and showing off gold Syndicate logos during co-op missions.  It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.  Also, in the meantime, go to the Syndicate Facebook page and hit ‘like’ to get an exclusive remixed version of the original Syndicate theme song from Skrillex
