Steel yourself, Ghost of Tsushima’s first gameplay trailer is intense

Sucker Punch’s samurai RPG, Ghost of Tsushima, is the second big title to grace Sony’s conference. The trailer showcases the abilities of our hero, Jin Sakai, as he takes out the Mongol invaders in a beautiful display of grace and skill.

The game is stunning, with warm lighting and gorgeous landscapes. The combat is clean and fluid, featuring parries, dodges, and fancy executions befitting of a master of the sword. The open world can be traversed on horse or on foot, which offers the additional abilities of climbing and the grappling hook.

The trailer also outlines a few story bits, detailing the tensions between the different samurai families, as well as the invasion of the Mongols in the 13th century.
