There is no individual RPG designer working in the industry today that I hold in higher esteem than J.E. Sawyer.  His involvement in a project means as much to me in 2011 as Richard Garriott’s did in 1990, so when he released his own mod for Fallout: New Vegas yesterday with a raft of tweaks to the game’s combat balance, Hardcore mode, and karmic systems, I immediately pulled it down in preparation for my next playthrough.  Turns out that’ll begin later this weekend, just as soon as I pick up the last DLC pack I was missing in today’s 75%-off New Vegas sale on Steam.
