Starfield officially announced, Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years

Ever since Bethesda trademarked it way back in 2013, they’ve been radio silent about Starfield. But that all changed at the Bethesda Press Conference minutes ago. Starfield, Bethesda’s first, fully original IP in 25 years, has finally been announced. The short teaser contains very little information, and does little beyond confirming the sci-fi setting of their next generation single-player experience.

There has been no word on the game’s release date nor any news regarding what consoles it’ll appear on—if it’ll even arrive before this console generation is over.
