Star Wars Battlefront sells 50% more on PS4 than Xbox One and PC in the UK

According to numbers released by GFK Chart-Track (via VideoGamer), Star Wars Battlefront has sold 50% more copies in the UK on PlayStation 4 than it has on the Xbox One and PC.

As told by GFK, 59% of all retail copies sold were on the PS4, with 39% on Xbox One, and PC rounding out the list with only 2% of total sales — digital copies of the game were not included in these figures. It also reports that Battlefront had the fourth-biggest launch of 2015 and is the best selling non-sequel the PS4 has ever had. Worth noting is the fact that Battlefront has a limited edition PS4 bundle that may have helped increase its sales on the Sony side.

Battlefront also had the biggest launch for a Star Wars game, selling 117% more copies than the previous record-holder, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Make sure to read our review where we felt that the game nailed the nostalgia of the original trilogy, but faltered with shallow progression and a lack of overall content.
