Star Overdrive Is coming to PC, PS5 and XS S|X in June 2025

Indie dev Caracal Games and publisher Dear Villagers are ready to bring their game Star Overdrive to life! The game is out for the Nintendo Switch (Our review coming soon) and today they're announcing that they'll be bringing the game to the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 19th – you won't have to wait long.

Pre-orders for PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms are already available, and players can choose between the standard edition at 34,99 USD and the Deluxe Edition at 39,99 USD which includes 3 styles, 1 design and 50 dyes for the Hoverboard, as well as the digital Original Soundtrack and the digital Manga written and drawn by the Caracal Games team, narrating a prequel story to the Star Overdrive main story.

Alongside working on porting the game on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, the Caracal Games team is hard at work on integrating player’s feedback in future patches for the Nintendo Switch version as soon as possible and implement them in the other versions as well ahead of their release date.
