The software lineup for the Nintendo 3DS doesn’t produce the most exciting list in the world, and it’s kinda sad that the highlights of it are remakes of games from the Nintendo 64 era. Nonetheless, the release of Star Fox 64 3D tomorrow is a welcome event for anyone who owns the struggling handheld.
“With the launch of Star Fox 64 3D , a hot new hardware color and $169.99 suggested retail price, Nintendo 3DS offers more entertainment variety and value to consumers than ever before,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Through competitive multiplayer modes and intuitive motion controls, Star Fox 64 3D delivers yet another standout game-play experience that is exclusive to Nintendo 3DS owners.”
Star Fox 64 3D features a graphical overhaul similar to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, takes advantage of the system’s built-in gyroscope, and adds a multiplayer mode for up to four players.
Sean started playing video games in infancy. He was not given a choice as much as a directive from his parents to be the best gamer on Earth. Sean was subjected to 10-12 hours of rigorous daily gaming throughout his youth, mastering the most complex video games and dominating online competitions. Sean's symbiotic relationship with video games led to writing about them for various gaming websites, and he is currently involved in sales strategy and analytics at one of the largest video game publishers in the world. Sean's mission is simple: Turn 100% of the human population into gamers, willingly or otherwise.
