Sony has announced that Spotify will be coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xperia phones. However, as it does, Sony will be closing down its Music Unlimited streaming service.
A post on the PlayStation Blog confirms that Spotify will come to PlayStation Network this Spring, and that prior to its launch, Music Unlimited will be closing on March 29th. Those who have an active Music Unlimited subscription as of February 28th will receive free access to the service for 30 days until it shuts down on March 29th.
Spotify will be available in 41 territories, and users will have access to both the free and premium versions of the service.
