I’m still working on my review for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist (hint: it’s good…go buy it), but we’ve got the launch trailer for the game to share with you this morning. The stealth title plays amazingly well, returning to the roots of the original title, and adding a few tricks of its own. If you were worried that Ubisoft might be trying to cater to the ‘action crowd’ too much, worry not – I’ve not killed a single soul in the game. It sneaks up on the stealth genre and pulls it back into the shadows, where it belongs. I’ll have my full report on the game soon, but suffice it to say that this stealth fan is impressed.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist shipped on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC today.
