Splatoon 2 makes a splash with new content

Splatoon 2’s World Championship just wrapped, and it ended with a few new announcements for the title. First, the hotly anticipated single-player DLC, Octo Expansion, will be released tomorrow for $19.99. Surprise! Additionally, three new amiibo figures based on the Octo Expansion have been announced for release later this year. You can check them out right here:

Finally, Splaton 2 will be receiving new content much longer than initially expected. Splatoon 2’s post-launch support was supposed to stop this July, but new maps and weapons will now be released until December. This is great news for fans of this popular Nintendo Switch shooter. Stay tuned for more on Splatoon 2 and all the surprises E3 2018 has to offer.
