Namco Bandai and Project Soul have unveiled the next installment in the Soul Calibur series. Taking place 17 years after the events of Soul Calibur IV, the battles in Soul Calibur V looks like it’ll feature some younger versions of our favorite characters, we well as some new ones. The story (and this is somewhat confirmed by the video) will make little to absolutely no sense, but the gameplay looks solid. Check out the video in question and decide for yourself!

Ron has been married to Gaming Trend Editor, Laura Burke, for 28 years. They have three dogs - Pazuzu (Irish Terrier), Atë, and Calliope (both Australian Kelpie/Pit Bull mixes), and an Axolotl named Dagon!
