While the PlayStation brand continues to flourish (the PlayStation 4 did just sell 10 million units in less than a year), Sony continues to be in a rough financial state in other departments.
The company has released a note to its investors (via GamesIndustry.biz) that has revised the company’s originally projected financial forecast. The updated financials claim that the company will suffer a loss of $466 million instead of its originally projected profit of $1.2 billion. This is largely attributed to the company’s mobile division, which will be undergoing significant revisions in the future.
This is only the latest in Sony’s reported financial struggles, with many of the company’s higher-ups taking pay cuts over the past year.
