Sony announced today two new limited edition models of the standard PS4: a gold 1TB PS4 will be available for $249.99 starting June 9 with, and a silver model of the PS4 at an undisclosed later date. Both consoles will ship with matching Dualshock 4 controllers.
European versions of both consoles will be available by June 28 and will ship with 500GB hard drives. Pricing has yet to be revealed.
No limited edition for the PS4 Pro has yet been announced.
Sony recently touted the PS4’s record-breaking sales pace, claiming that the platform has sold through 60 million units since its launch—outpacing even the PlayStation 2, which currently holds the record of most console sales of all time.
Joe's favorite games are Zelda: Majora's Mask, Dishonored, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Hearthstone. His favorite game is not The Witcher 3 because he hasn't played it yet.
