The Sony Press Conference opens with an orchestral concert before a trailer comes onscreen revealing a young boy playing in the woods. The boy is called into a hut by a mysterious, gruff, yet oddly-familiar voice. From out of the darkness walks an older and far beardier Viking version of Kratos. The gameplay demo shows Kratos in a whole new light and in a whole new world that seems to be more open than any of the previous games in the series.
