Sky Skipper brings an unreleased blast from the past to Nintendo Switch

The Arcade Archives line of titles on Nintendo Switch is expanding with a very exciting game. For fans of Nintendo’s history, Arcade Archives Sky Skipper will be a very special release. Sky Skipper is an incredibly rare arcade game created by Nintendo that was never released outside of Japan. Due to its low popularity, it never left the region, that is, until now. Through extracting the ROM from the last remaining Sky Skipper arcade cabinet, the game was able to be brought to Switch, and it will be released next month on the eShop. You can visit Nintendo of America’s Twitter for a glimpse at the game, and check out the image below for a taste of Sky Skipper’s promotional art.
