Silly symphonies come to life with behind-the-scenes look at Cuphead soundtrack recording

Last week, Studio MDHR released the first track to the upcoming platformer Cuphead. The track, Floral Fury, is accompanied by a behind the scenes video, which can be viewed above.

The soundtrack was recorded live with the help of 42 musicians including a 13-piece big band orchestra, a 10-member ensemble, and various soloists and ragtime pianists. Major influences of “Cuphead’s” 1930’s jazz sound include music legends such as Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Gene Krupa.

Timed to “Cuphead’s” release, the game’s full soundtrack will be available on Sept. 29.

You can also get your mugs on a special vinyl edition of the Cuphead soundtrack September 29. The game will be available for Xbox One and PC on the same day. Stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
