Konami has confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall will launch on September 24, 2026. Developer Screen Burn debuted a new trailer featuring fresh gameplay and a new character. Silent Hill fans have been eating good these past couple years!
The new trailer introduces Zoe, a nurse from a local clinic in the game's setting of St. Amelia, whose voice was first heard in February's reveal. She's shown calling for protagonist Simon to return to the island while questioning why he's there.
Screen Burn highlighted several gameplay elements, including narrative-driven puzzles designed alongside the story so that solving them reveals more about Simon's situation. The trailer also offered a first look at a new creature stalking Simon in the Otherworld. Combat matters against some enemies, but others require stealth and evasion, using the CRTV device and a peek mechanic to avoid being spotted and triggering a deadly chase.

The studio is leaning on PS5 hardware features, with DualSense adaptive triggers simulating firearms, haptic feedback conveying approaching creatures, and motion controls for tuning the CRTV to pick up weak signals. That's what I'm talking about!
Townfall is now available to pre-order in Standard and Deluxe Editions. Pre-orders of the Standard Edition include two CRTV cosmetic skins, while the Deluxe Edition adds an alternate outfit for Simon, an interactive artbook, a digital soundtrack, and 48-hour early access.
