Today, Atlus announced that the popular RPG series, Shin Megami Tensei, will be receiving an entry on the Nintendo Switch titled Shin Megami Tensei V. While this was announced recently for Japan, we now have confirmation that it will be heading to the West.
There is still little known about Shin Megami Tensei V, but it will take place in modern Tokyo and give players a new onslaught of demons to face. The news of this game arriving on Nintendo Switch doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as Shin Megami Tensei IV was released on Nintendo 3DS in 2013 while Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse being released just last year.
Shin Megami Tensei V will be developed by Atlus using Unreal Engine 4. There will be more information such as gameplay and a release date at a later date. For more information, visit the official website.
