Shadow of Mordor Cast and Composer Revealed, New Trailer
The latest trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor has been released.
This new trailer expands on the Lord of the Rings spin-off’s story and hints at how the game will tie in to the franchise’s main trilogy. Within the trailer is a showcase of protagonist Talion’s ability to control orcs in order to accumulate enough forces to bring an army to Mordor.
Along with the trailer, developer Monolith Studios confirmed that the game’s cast will consist of many industry veterans. Troy Baker, famous for his roles as Joel from The Last of Us and more recently Delsin Rowe in Infamous: Second Son, will voice the game’s protagonist Talion. Other actors featured in Shadow of Mordor include Nolan North (Nathan Drake, Uncharted), Laura Bailey (Serah, Final Fantasy XIII) and Liam O’Brien (Akihiko Sanada, Persona) as Gollum.
Award winning composer Garry Schyman will be scoring the game, having previously worked on games like Bioshock Infinite.
Recently, Monolith Studios released a trailer regarding Shadow of Mordor’s upgrade system.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is slated for release for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 7th.
