Sable is the striking visual showpiece hidden in the crowd

Sable, a futuristic exploration game from new studio Shedworks, is an exciting visual stunner tucked away among all the big showstoppers of E3. You play as the titular Sable who is looking to piece together clues about the history of the alien planet she’s exploring.

Sable is a coming-of-age tale of discovery through exploration across a strikingly rendered open world desert. Go on a deeply personal journey across an alien planet as the young Sable, exploring ancient monuments, ruined architecture, and ships fallen from the cosmos, all while learning the history of its inhabitants and discovering her place in the world.

The trailer has a highly stylized, cel-shaded aesthetic that gives the impression of a comic tile come to life. Seeing it in motion adds to the otherworldly feel of the space as Sable takes off on her hoverbike over sandy dunes. It is coming in 2019 to PC and unspecified consoles, and it is certainly one that you should keep your eye on.
