Rule the golden age of gaming when Arcade Paradise releases later this year

Announced during the Wired Direct yesterday, Arcade Paradise is coming from Nosebleed Interactive later this year on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. I can’t say we know much of the game, especially with how vague the trailer is, but here’s what we know from their website, and the trailer-

Welcome to Arcade Paradise!

Our biggest game to date. You play Ashley, young, charismatic, and stuck in a dead end job. It’s the early 90s and whilst working shifts at your father’s laundromat you dream of running a videogame arcade.

With your father lounging by the pool somewhere on another continent, and with you being entrusted with the keys to his kingdom (his laundry business). You’re tasked with managing and expanding it.

Ashley is going to transform the business and give the sleepy town of Grindstone something to REALLY get excited about!

From literal rags to riches, manage the day-to-day tasks of running a business, whilst planning where to expand and which of the 35+ hot new arcade machines to order. With all the latest games available and fully playable, be careful…  it’s going to be easy to get distracted; you don’t have time to just stand and set the highest scores, there are bills to pay and trash to take out!

Stay one step ahead of your father, manage and invest the profits, and build your very own Arcade Paradise!

From overviewing the games Steam page, it sounds like you’ll be playing a lot of arcade games, but as some of the descriptors read one would think you’ll be playing a simulator where you’ll be managing an arcade, which sounds like a really interesting prospect.

Welcome to Arcade Paradise, the 90’s retro arcade adventure game. With the keys to the family laundromat, Ashley decides to transform the business and give the sleepy town of Grindstone something to get excited about!
