ROCCAT Introduces German-Engineered PC Accessories at CES 2012

I’m a huge fan of nifty gaming equipment on my computer, and I’m always looking for better items to put on my rig.  Where there are some good companies out there (Razer, Logitech and Steelseries among others), it’s not often that you see a new company show up ready to take aim at the competition.  As seen over on Engadget, ROCCAT has brought some German-engineered PC peripherals to CES this year with the aim of bringing them to the American market.

Not only do these things look great with a black and blue design, they also operate in sync with one another.  From the press release:

Exclusive ROCCAT™ Talk© protocol allows the Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard and the ROCCAT™ Kone[+] high-performance gaming mouse to talk to each other – giving you a powerful set bonus that lets you execute mouse macros quickly and easily right from your keyboard. Easy-Aim technology is perfect for when your game demands precise marksmanship in sniper mode. Simply press and hold a single keyboard key and Easy-Aim will instantly optimize the DPI setting on your Kone[+].

The product lineup will ship in the middle of February and range from $80-90 for the Kone[+] mouse and Iksu keyboard to $120 for their Kave 5.1 surround sound headphones.

I've been a computer gamer since the mid 90s and have been a writer at Gaming Trend since late 2004. My primary interests are RPGs and turn-based strategy, and Japanese imports.
