Today during a Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced that they're bringing the Kingdom Hearts series to Nintendo consoles! Again! Exclusively for Switch 2, the Kingdom Hearts I-III collection (including KH 1.5+2.5, 2.8, and 3 in one bundle or sold separately) will run natively on the console this time.

A demo for Kingdom Hearts III is currently available on the eShop. We've covered these games many times on just about every platform they've appeared on, and we'll be sure to cover these ports as well. However, the cover art for this title feels sloppy and unprofessional. So much so that many assumed it used generative AI in some form. GamingTrend has reached out to Square Enix for comment.
Update 6/18/26: Square Enix has altered the box art for this collection for the final release, so no need to count Doland's fingers anymore for AI suspicions.
