Earlier today, the trailer for HITMAN 2 went live on the official HITMAN youtube channel. The short announcement trailer comes just ahead of E3 and hits us with a barrage of high-octane scenes, a November 13th release date, and a new sniper mode. IO Interactive’s newest HITMAN title will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Pre-ordering the game will get you immediate access to HITMAN: Sniper Assassin, a co-operative mode where you and your friends can tackle various deadly challenges.
Alongside the main trailer, the HITMAN youtube channel has also uploaded a separate trailer specifically for the Sniper Assassin mode.
HITMAN Season One received a fair amount of critical praise, but that didn’t stop Square Enix from dropping IO Interactive in 2017. Warner Brothers saw the opportunity and picked up HITMAN, publishing the HITMAN: Definitive Edition earlier this year in May, and now HITMAN 2. During the lead up to E3, a misstep at Warner Brothers resulted in HITMAN 2 being leaked several days ago after the logo for the new game surfaced. But regardless, we’re glad to finally get something a little more solid.
As always, Gaming Trend will be sure to keep you up to date with all the latest HITMAN news and more.
