Red Dead Redemption 2 has plenty of loot in its collector’s editions

Red Dead Redemption 2 is officially getting a Special Edition, Ultimate Edition, and a Collector’s Box, all available to pre order ahead of its October 26 release, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Announced on developer Rockstar’s website, the three editions add a variety of bonuses to the base game.

At $79.99, the Special Edition includes the additional Bank Robbery Mission where “Arthur and a couple of his fellow gang members come up with a daring plan to break in and rob the bank in the southern town of Rhodes,” according to Rockstar. It also comes with the Dappled Black Thoroughbred horse, gameplay boosts, an outfit and early access to certain weapons. It also comes with a physical map of the game world, not unlike the first game.

The biggest collection is the $99.99 Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box. It doesn’t include the game, but comes with an abundance of physical loot in a very red box with a lock. Inside are a collector’s coin, a treasure map, a bandana, and a puzzle among other items.

Rockstar also announced the War Horse and Outlaw Survival Kit pre-order bonuses that come with every edition of the game.

Announced way back in 2016, Red Dead Redemption 2 is set 11 years before the first game and follows the exploits of Dutch’s Gang in a dying wild west. Stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.

Pierce loves horror games because they make him forget about how scary real life is. When he's not laughing at his own jokes, he's probably crying because nobody else is laughing at them. He dresses up as Spider-Man for parties and events, and he is still sad about P.T.
