Real-time strategy set in the alternate reality of 1920+, Iron Harvest Kickstarter now live

After asking RTS fans what they want from a modern RTS, the gang over at King Art Games is creating Iron Harvest, a real-time strategy game based on the 1920+ world created by Jakub Różalsk. In just under a day, their Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed half the funds needed to successfully fund the game.

Depending on the results of the Kickstarter campaign, Iron Harvest will features three playable fractions with over 40 unit types and 9 heroes, three single-player campaigns with an overarching story, single-player & Co-op skirmish matches and challenge maps, competitive multiplayer with ranked matches and seasons, and free DLC & updates.

The gameplay will include a large variety of tactics including stealth or destroying everything in your path through the advanced cover and destruction system. With three campaigns promised for this game, the story is expected to be mature and contain the perspective of three playable hero characters in each of the three different fractions. Each contains their own unique personality and in some cases, a pet!

Iron Harvest takes place in the World of 1920+. It is an alternate version of our own world created by Polish artist Jakub Różalski. In the early 20th century, tradition clashes with progress, and the world is still full of mysteries and secrets.

Kickstarter backers have the chance to pledge $165 and earn the exclusive Kickstarter Edition of the game which includes Iron Harvest on a DVD, a key for the digital edition, metal case for the discs, special diorama box, mech figurine, soundtrack on CD and digital, wepaons manual book and PDF, large hardcover artbook, two DIN A3 posters, monthly production updates, access to all alpha versions, access to the closed beta, access to the closed Iron Harvest feedback community, portrait frame, and your name in the game’s credits.

Iron Harvest’s Kickstarter campaign will be running until April 14th, 2018. There is more information on the game including stretch goals, hero & unit information, and faction information on the official Kickstarter campaign page.
