In a short but sharp looking trailer, we get our first look at Quake Champions. Reminiscent of old-school Quake Arena or Quake 3, it looks like it’ll capture the speed many folks felt was missing from the highly-rated recent iteration of Doom (our review here). With rocket and strafejumping present and accounted for, count me as interested.

Quake Champions is coming to PC exclusively with an unspecified 2017 release date.
